Rotary meets Sports unterst\u00fctzt \u00f6sterreichisches Special Olympics-Team<\/h3>\n

Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr 61 Ahleten, 21 Unified Partner und 20 Trainer des \u00f6sterreichischen Teams durch Symposium \u201eRotary meets Sports\u201c<\/h4>\n

Die von rotarischen Clubs getragene Bildungs- und Charity-Initiative \u201eRotary meets\u201c organisierte im vergangenen Jahr das Symposium \u201eRotary meets Sports\u201c mit prominenten Sportlern und Sport-Managern. Die eingegangenen Spenden mehrerer rotarischer Clubs von insgesamt 25.000 Euro wurden dem Special Olympics \u00d6sterreich-Team \u00fcberreicht. Diese bestreiten derzeit die Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi und haben aktuell bereits 8 Medaillen errungen.<\/p>\n

Neue rotarische Initiative \u201eRotary meets\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201eRotary meets\u201c ist eine neue rotarische Initiative, die j\u00e4hrlich ein Bildungs- und Charity-Symposium organisiert und begleitend publiziert. 2018 fand das erste Symposium unter dem Titel \u201eRotary meets Sports\u201c statt. An dieser von Mitgliedern der Rotary Clubs RC Wien, RC Wien-Nordost und RC Wien-Sch\u00f6nbrunn initiierten Benefizveranstaltung nahmen rund 300 Personen teil. Zahlreiche Sportler und Kenner des Metiers \u2013 darunter \u00d6FB-Teamchef Franco Foda, Rapid-Legende Steffen Hofmann, Skirennl\u00e4uferin und mehrfache Special Olympics Silbermedaillengewinnerin Johanna Pramstaller und \u00d6sterreichs bisher einzige Nummer 1 der Weltrangliste im Tennis, Thomas Muster \u2013 diskutierten unter der Moderation von Regina Preloznik zur Frage \u201eWas wir vom Spitzensport lernen k\u00f6nnen\u201c. Am Ende des Events wurde ein Scheck mit einer Spendensumme von 25.000 Euro an das \u00f6sterreichische Special Olympics Team f\u00fcr die Sommerspiele 2019 in Abu Dhabi \u00fcberreicht. Weitere Spenden und Sponsoring-Einnahmen flie\u00dfen in rotarische Sozialprojekte.<\/p>\n

Rotary meets Health 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Das diesj\u00e4hrige Symposium tr\u00e4gt den Titel \u201eRotary meets Health\u201c und widmet sich Fragen der Entwicklung, der Kultur und des Genusses rund um das Thema Gesundheit. Es findet am 9.
