Geburtstagsfest mit -konzert der erfolgreichsten steirischen Band aller Zeiten mit anschlie\u00dfender Laser-Show am 5. Juli <\/b><\/h4>\n

Mit 15 Millionen verkauften Singles ihres Welt-Hits “Live is life”, ausverkauften Konzerten in den gr\u00f6\u00dfte Stadien Europas, Kanadas, der USA, Russlands und Chinas und zahlreichen internationalen Awards ist Opus mit Abstand die erfolgreichste Band der Steiermark. Am 5. Juli l\u00e4dt die Mariazeller Bergwelle die Kult-Band und ihre Fans zum Open-Air Geburtstagsfest auf die Seeb\u00fchne der B\u00fcrgeralpe. Im Anschluss an das “Best-of” Konzert mit den gr\u00f6\u00dften Hits aus 40 Jahren feiert die neue Lasershow Premiere.<\/p>\n

“Opus ist es gelungen, ein St\u00fcck \u00f6sterreichische Musikgeschichte zu schreiben. Zum 40-j\u00e4hrigen Bestehen lade ich alle Opus-Fans dazu ein, den Geburtstag dieser international so erfolgreichen Band auf der Mariazeller Bergwelle geb\u00fchrend zu feiern,” sagt Josef Kleinhofer, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer der Mariazellerland GmbH.<\/p>\n

Der Ohrwurm \u201eLive is Life\u201c ist aus der Geschichte des Austropop nicht mehr wegzudenken. Wer die \u00f6sterreichische Rockband jedoch auf jenen internationalen Nummer 1-Hit aus dem Jahr 1985 reduziert, tut ihr Unrecht. Bevor Opus der weltweit rund 15 Millionen Mal verkaufte Volltreffer gelang, hatte sich die Formation schon ein solides Fundament gebaut: \u201eFlyin\u2019 High\u201c und das Titelst\u00fcck vom \u201eEleven\u201c-Album platzierten sich 1981 ebenso in den Austro-Charts wie ein Jahr sp\u00e4ter das Titellied ihres Konzeptwerkes \u201eThe Opusition\u201c, gefolgt von \u201eUp And Down\u201c. Markenzeichen dieser symphonischen, perfekt produzierten Melodic-Rock-St\u00fccke ist der komplex arrangierte Chorgesang.<\/p>\n

Bei der Mariazeller Bergwelle spielt Opus in der Stammbesetzung mit Herwig R\u00fcdisser (Gesang), Ewald Pfleger (Gitarre), Kurt-Ren\u00e9 Plisnier (Keyboards) und G\u00fcnter Grasmuck (Schlagzeug) sowie zwei Background\u00ads\u00e4ngerinnen und einem Bassisten einen Querschnitt mit allen gro\u00dfen Hits der letzten 40 Jahre. Am Ende der Show singt das ganze Publikum mit, wenn der Evergreen \u201eLive Is Life\u201c erklingt.<\/p>\n

Zu musikalischen Evergreens aus Klassik, Pop und Schlager tanzen auch dieses Jahr wieder nach jedem Bergwellen-Konzert bis zu 40 Meter hohe, beleuchtete Wasserfont\u00e4nen im Takt der Musik. Die neue Show “Mariazell \u2013 ein Geschenk des Himmels” setze sich mit der beeindruckenden Natur und der faszinierenden Bergwelt von Mariazell auseinander. “Die Show entf\u00fchrt den Zuschauer in diese Welt der Sch\u00f6nheit und Erhabenheit. Atemberaubenden Bilder, die in Verbindung mit den Elementen und der Musik den Emotionen freien Lauf lassen. So l\u00e4sst unter anderem Strauss beschwingt die Fr\u00fchlingsstimmen erklingen und Louis Armstrong besingt unvergleichlich diese wundervolle Welt. W\u00e4hrend uns dann die Seer in das wilde Wasser werfen, das als Lebenselixier in B\u00e4chen und Fl\u00fcssen durch die Landschaft flie\u00dft, besingt Coldplay dieses wahrhaftige Paradies in den Bergen, Mariazell,” verr\u00e4t Choreograph Mischa Anton von der Consortium Eventtechnik.<\/p>\n

Die faszinierende Show wird im Anschluss an jedes Konzert der Mariazeller Bergwelle stattfinden und hat ihre Premiere beim Opus-Konzert am 5. Juli.<\/p>\n
